Seems to me that Lasn may have misread or misunderstood the political mood and culture of Canada to an extent. He is correct though that the MSM really failed on the Occupy story. In Canada, most of the major outlets seem to have made judgements and made up a story that agreed with those judgments before they did any investigation or research. Even when the reality turned out not to match their pre-conceived notions, they stuck with the original story.
